About anything from the niqab (which I wear and feel strongly for) to poetry to questions that I feel need to be asked. A journey of truths, which I hope some of my sisters in Islam will take with me.

not a fragile
to be hidden
or consumed
not a shadow
a reflection
of oppression
(or presumed,)
not an image
of a power
to be petted smooth
or groomed
but sometimes
a tension
white knuckled
fear of living
without mention
my intention
will be doomed-
